Fly!

In this paper stop-motion, I played with the fantasy of flying and discovering the world above us through the perspective of a fish-like creature. In addition to paper, I also used materials such as tissues and thread.

Muzsikas: I Thought It Was Raining (Azt Gondoltam Eso Esik)

Through experimenting with sand, this animation depicts the lyrics of a Hungarian folk song which is about love and loss. Since my Hungarian heritage is something I really care about, I wanted to showcase this piece of my culture.

Mother Poems: My Hair Reaches My Waist… & I Can’t Stand My Mom When…

These two animations about children's poems are combinations of different mediums, materials, and digital and manual animations. For example, the last part of ‘I Can’t Stand My Mom…’ was first digitally animated, and then the frames were printed out and hand-painted each. They are connected by the same topic: the mother and how she is perceived by her child. The animations approach these poems with vibrant colors and a playful feeling.
